During a talk with Siddharth Kannan actress Kangana Ranaut shared her experiences with Bollywood icons Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor after she declined roles in prominent movies such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), Sultan (2016), Sanju (2018) and Singh Is Bliing (2015). Despite turning down their offers Kangana disclosed that these actors bear no ill feelings and maintain a friendly rapport with her.

During a recent chat with Salman, Kangana revealed that he had approached her for a part in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. However she turned it down with a request, “Yeh kya role tumne mujhe diya (What kind of role have you given me)?” Salman later approached her for Sultan, to which he remarked, “Ab isse zyada kya role chahiye. Heroines ka aesa hi role hota hai (What better role do you want? This is the kind of role heroines usually get).” Although she turned down both movies, Kangana mentioned that Salman is still nice to her and keeps in touch.

She also mentioned that Ranbir Kapoor had been to her house to ask for her help with Sanju. “Ranbir himself came to my house and said, ‘Sanju mein role karle please (Please do a role in Sanju),’” Kangana revealed, though she ultimately turned it down.

Regarding Akshay Kumar, Kangana said how he playful approached her after she turned down several opportunities to collaborate with him. When he contacted her, Akshay said, “Tu na mere saath hi kaam nahi karna chahti hai. Tereko na mujhse koi problem hai (You don’t want to work with me, you have a problem with me).” Kangana told him she didn't have any problems; she just declined the opportunities that were offered.

Even though she turned down those well-known movies Kangana stressed that none of the actors harbor any negative sentiments towards her. "Now, when they meet me, they don't have any grudges," she said, adding that Salman Khan, in particular, remains very kind to her.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan featured Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. In Sultan Salman Khan shared the screen with Anushka Sharma. Sanju a biopic helmed by Rajkumar Hirani showcased Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt along with Paresh Rawal and Vicky Kaushal playing roles. Singh Is Bliing directed by Prabhu Deva starred Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and Lara Dutta.
