Director Farhan Akhtar, who is known for his acting, singing and direction, has recently expressed his opinion on the film 'Animal' in an Interview. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role and is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. According to media reports, Farhan admitted in an interview that he did not like the film 'Animal' and found the character played by Ranbir Kapoor problematic.

Last year, when Ranbir Kapoor's film Animal was released, it undoubtedly earned a lot at the box office but its criticism also did not diminish. The misbehaviour with women i.e. Ranbir's alpha male character was not liked by the audience as well as many celebrities. Even Javed Akhtar had criticised the film. However, Farhan Akhtar does not think so at all.

Farhan Akhtar is an actor as well as a director and producer. He has made many films like Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya, Don. In a conversation with YouTuber Raj Shamni, when Farhan Akhtar was asked about the Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Animal, the actor told what he thinks about it.

Farhan Akhtar said, "I don't believe that some things should not be shown. We are in a field where if someone tells me, 'You can't make a film like this' then I would say, 'Who are you?' Who is going to tell me what I should make and what not? I am allowed by the laws of this country and I have the freedom of artistic expression to say whatever I want." Farhan further said, "I would never say to any filmmaker or writer or producer or anyone, 'Dude don't make this' or 'This kind of film can't be made'. Everyone has their own ideas, because I Don't think that's right and it's dangerous to do."

Ranbir Kapoor's character has been shown as alpha male in the movie Animal, that is why there was trolling about his character also. When Farhan was asked why women get attracted towards alpha males, he said that there are different types of people living in the world, some of whom also get attracted towards alpha males. He said that Alpha is the one who always wants to be on top and wants to be the leader of the pack.
