Kangana Ranaut books new office space in Mumbai after her previous office was demolished in 2020

Kangana Ranaut, the Bollywood star and political figure, has added to her property holdings by acquiring an office in Andheri (West), Mumbai, for Rs 1.56 crore.  As per registration records sourced from Propstack, the office occupies a space of 407 square feet in the Arc One office building. On August 23, the transaction was officially recorded, and a stamp duty charge of Rs 9.37 lakh was paid.

The Arc One project, being developed by Chandra Gupta Estates has obtained clearance from the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) and is scheduled for completion by the close of 2026.

In 2020 Ranauts connection with the real estate market in Mumbai stirred controversy when the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation BMC tore down sections of her newly built office. This came after she made remarks about the ruling Shiv Sena party in light of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's passing. The demolition prompted Ranaut to take legal action by filing a lawsuit at the Bombay High Court, demanding Rs 2 crore as compensation for what she deemed an unlawful act. Additionally, the central government provided her with Y plus security following the incident.

Despite her packed agenda and political engagements, Kangana is actively working to solidify her career in Mumbai. In the recent 2024 general elections, she secured a seat as a Member of Parliament for the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency in Himachal Pradesh beating Vikramaditya Singh, the son of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

Regarding her profession, Kangana is occupied promoting her most recent film, Emergency. The movie will be released in theaters on September 6.
