Vijay Varma opens up about struggles and financial hardships before bollywood success

When it comes to the great actors of Hindi cinema, it is not possible that Vijay Varma's name is not in the list. In just a few years, Vijay has left an indelible mark on cinema with his praiseworthy performances. But before achieving success, he also faced struggle. Recently, the actor has recalled his struggling days and talked about the worst phase. Vijay Verma started his career in the year 2008 with the short film Shor. Since then he has done small roles in many films. Before setting foot in Bollywood, he faced a lot of hardships in Mumbai. In a recent interview, Vijay Verma has recalled the worst phase of his life.

In conversation with Shubhankar Mishra, Vijay Verma said, "It was a very bad time. It was the lowest phase of my life. I had only Rs 18 in my account and I could either eat panipuri or idli. I started taking money from home. Stopped because my father wouldn't talk to me." Vijay Verma further said, “I was told that I would not work hard if my rent and allowance were fixed, so I should let the fire within me grow stronger. In 2-3 months I will be left with nothing.” At that time I played a small role for money and it was a very bad experience. So it was the lowest phase of my life."

Let us tell you that Vijay Verma's upcoming web series 'IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack' has been directed by Anubhav Sinha, who has previously made Mobhi, Thappad, Article 15 and Mulk. There will be six episodes in this series. Its streaming will start on Netflix from August 30. Many artists including Manoj Pahwa, Pankaj Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra and Arvind Swami have worked in it.
