Priyanka Chopra reveals 5 am wake-ups balancing family and filming amidst grueling schedule of ‘The Bluff’

Priyanka Chopra recently made a visit to Mumbai, India to attend the wedding of her brother Siddharth Chopra. She lately wrapped up the shoot of her highly anticipated upcoming movie The Bluff in Australia a few weeks ago. The Global icon shared she has been on a roll and has no time for feelings. She emphasized the demanding schedule the shoot demanded and how she maintained her life with it. PeeCee had a hectic 12-hour work schedule starting her day early at 4:30 - 5:00 am.

Speaking of a strenuous schedule for The Bluff she reminded herself of the privilege she owns whenever she felt complaining and also made time for her daughter and mother. In a recent interview with Vogue, Priyanka Chopra opened up about the grueling schedule juggling between filming and family. She said, “My days were really intense, but at the same time, ironically, extremely routine.”

She continued, “I’d been filming for The Bluff since May and I was working six days a week. If we weren’t shooting nights, I would wake up most days between 4:30 and 5 am. I worked 12 hours, came home, ate dinner, played with my daughter, caught up with my mom or other work, went to sleep, then woke up the next day and did it all over again.”

She went on to add, “I have bad days just like everyone else, but I remind myself what a privilege it is to have all that I do, and I stop complaining and go do my job. I put my feelings aside and deal with them when I get home.”

The Bluff is centered around a former pirate who must safeguard her family against the dark sins of her past catch. Priyanka Chopra plays a titular role as a ferocious pirate-turned-homemaker. She has also bankrolled the movie as a producer alongside other producers of the film.
