Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday starrer film 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' was one of the blockbuster films of the year 2019. The film's director Mudassar Aziz recently confirmed a sequel to a romantic comedy drama. The director of the film promised that the upcoming film will be a riot of laughs and will show a very interesting point of view from a woman's point of view. Earlier, many reports had claimed that Kartik Aryan has said yes to this project and is all set to reprise his role in the sequel.

Mudassar Aziz shared several updates hinting towards the sequel of the film Pati Patni Aur Woh. He said, 'This will be my next film as a director. I am working on this right now. We are in the process of finalising many things. Obviously I'm going to do it again as the next instalment of the idea of Pati Patni Aur Woh. So I can promise that this will not be an ordinary film. I will show it from a woman's point of view and in a very interesting way. It will also be full of laughter.

The director has not yet made any disclosure regarding the cast of the film. He said, 'I am not ready to make any announcement yet. I'm working towards a sequel, which is pretty self-explanatory. I don't believe in franchises. Even when I went from Happy Bhag Jayegi to Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi. So you can't forget Bagga, Afridi and Happy. I love making sequels. However, it is the right of the studios and producers to announce who has been finalised and who has not been finalised, and who will be the cast.

The film Pati Patni Aur Woh was the sequel to Sanjeev Kumar's 1978 film of the same name. This 2019 film starred Bhumi Pednekar, Ananya Panday, Kartik Aryan, Aparshakti Khurana and Sunny Singh in the lead roles. The film performed well at the box office.
