New dad Varun Dhawan juggles parenting and blockbusters, jokes about being 'Scolded' by his newborn daughter

Varun Dhawan, the actor and proud new father, recently gave a glimpse of the joys of parenthood, sharing how his baby girl keeps him on his toes. While promoting the trailer of his niece Anjini Dhawan’s debut movie Binny and Family, he funnily confessed that his daughter often “scolds” him, leaving him pondering his role within the family.

"Thoda ajeeb lagta hai ki, mummy papa ne abhi abhi daanta hai aur fir baby ke room me aate he bacchi bhi daant rahi hai aur fir biwi bhi daant ti hai. Toh us waqt aap sochte ho position kya hai ghar me," Varun joked on how parenting has changed his life.

Varun and his spouse Natasha Dalal celebrated the arrival of their baby girl on June 3. He took to Instagram to share the delightful moment featuring a clip of their beloved pet dog Joey, playfully “welcoming” the newborn with a charming sign. The actor also kindly asked for some privacy during this meaningful period expressing gratitude to all for their support.

Varun is not only embracing fatherhood but also juggling multiple film projects. He is all set for the launch of his upcoming action thriller Baby John which introduces Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi to Hindi cinema. Directed by Kalees this star-studded film featuring Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 25. With production by Jio Studios in partnership with Atlee and Cine1 Studios Baby John is poised to be a significant Christmas release.

Varun has a busy lineup ahead with his role in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari sharing the screen with Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. He is also set to lead Border 2 the highly anticipated sequel to JP Dutta's war drama, alongside Sunny Deol.

In addition, Varun has committed to No Entry 2 the follow-up to the 2005 comedy blockbuster. Boney Kapoor is producing the film while Anees Bazmee will take on the directorial role. The movie is set to feature Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh in prominent roles. Shooting is set to begin in December 2024 and No Entry 2 is targeting a spectacular theatrical debut in 2025 to mark the 20th anniversary of the first movie. Reports indicate that the follow-up will inject more comedy into the mix featuring a cast and official casting news is expected to be revealed shortly.
