Shah Rukh Khan’s Veer Zaraa and Anil Kapoor’s Taal too re-release in theaters on THIS date

Tis the season of re-releases. Bollywood is currently experiencing iconic classic movie releases. While the Hindi film industry is struggling to pull audiences to theaters with new movies it is attracting audiences with screening of the most loved and celebrated iconic movies on big screens once again. On August 30, Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein, Gangs Of Wasseypur 1 & 2 hit the theaters once again meanwhile Laila Majnu and Maine Pyaar Kiya were already running in cinemas. Now reports are that Shah Rukh Khan’s Veer Zaara and Anil Kapoor’s Taal will also make a grand return to big screens.

Despite the big box office clash of Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa theaters faced a setback. However, the horror comedy Stree 2 turned out to be a blockbuster hit but the other two movies flopped. That’s when the re-release trend took up the pace which was started by Rockstar this year. Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein 2001 starring R Madhavan and Dia Mirza opened with housefull in many theaters after 23 years. With the re-release mania here comes a treat for Shah Rukh Khan fans as Veer Zaara and Pardes will hit theaters again.

According to sources, Shah Rukh Khan and Anil Kapoor’s classic movies will make a grand return to big screens after ruling audience's hearts over the years. Romance musical Veera Zaara and Taal have confirmed a re-release date of September 13 and 20 respectively. SRK and AK’s Pardes and Tezaab are also expected to hit theaters again.

A source said, "Veer-Zaara will be released on September 13. It'll have selected shows per day in cinemas and based on the demand, the shows would be increased. Pardes would be out on September 20 or 27. A confirmed date will be revealed soon."

Subhash Ghai’s Taal (1999) starring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Akshaye Khanna will be out in cinemas on September 20. The source added, "Zee Studios is also seriously considering to re-release Tezaab in the second half of next month."
