Tagged as a B’town power couple they are set to embrace parenthood soon welcoming their first baby soon. This has been the most talked about subject in the media right now. Not just parents-to-be but the film fraternity and fans are also excited to welcome their newborn. Well, the baby is expected to have a Ranbir Kapoor link. The couple left everyone surprised announcing their pregnancy in February. As time passed latest news reports were regarding the delivery date of their baby and the duo will start a new chapter of their life. According to New 18 reports, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are predicted to welcome their baby on 28th September 2024 which marks Ranbir Kapoor's 42nd birthday. If the reports are to be true, the new baby will share the birth date with Deepika Padukone’s ex-boyfriend. 

The source said, "If things go as per plans, she will deliver the baby on September 28 at a hospital in South Bombay. At present, the soon-to-be mother is enjoying every bit of the break that she has taken from work. Her maternity leave will last till March of next year. And after that, she’ll immediately get busy with filming the sequel to Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas."

On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD which she reportedly shot during her pregnancy. After welcoming her first child she will resume back to work in March 2025 shooting for Kalki 2 which is expected to go on floors in January-February next year. She also has a Hindi remake of The Intern in the kitty.
