Fans of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar can rejoice as the legendary pair renowned for their successful collaborations in movies such as Hera Pheri and Bhool Bhulaiyaa are coming together once again for a fresh venture. This eagerly awaited film, blending horror and comedy genres is being brought to life by producer Ektaa R Kapoor and promises to make a splash upon its upcoming release to audiences.

As per a news article in Midday there is a special surprise planned for Akshay Kumars birthday on September 9. The unveiling of a motion poster for his upcoming film is set to take place on that day. This one minute teaser is anticipated to not only reveal the film's official title but also give fans a sneak peek at Akshay Kumars character. Insider sources close to the project have disclosed that director Priyadarshan has been diligently perfecting the motion poster. He recently visited Mumbai to finalise the details.

This movie marks the first time the pair has worked together in 14 years. Bollywood Hungama reported that their reunion was confirmed in February 2024. In a previous interview with Hindustan Times in April 2024 Priyadarshan shared his enthusiasm about collaborating with Akshay Kumar again. “Now that I am done with my docu-series on the Ram Mandir’s history, my most important film on which I am beginning work is the one with Akshay, produced by Ektaa Kapoor. It is a horror fantasy with humour.”

Priyadarshan clarified his response when asked if the project would be similar to Bhool Bhulaiyaa, “That was a psychological thriller, but this one will be fantasy, set against the backdrop of black magic, the oldest superstition in India. Akshay handles the emotions so well, and collaborating with him always turns out well.”

Although the specifics of the story are still hush hush it has been disclosed that Akshay will portray a character entangled in a romantic dilemma with three women. With Priyadarshan's comedic touch and Akshay's captivating screen presence this horror comedy is set to offer viewers a unique and enjoyable movie experience. Fans are eagerly anticipating September 9 to catch a glimpse of this thrilling partnership.
