The Buckingham Murders: Kareena Kapoor Khan reveals what resonated her with the character, Director Hansal Mehta calls it pan-world movie

The trailer of the highly anticipated The Buckingham Murders has been unveiled today. Kareena Kapoor Khan, director Hansal Mehta, and producer Ektaa Kapoor come together as a powerhouse setting the stage for an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Kareena explores a challenging character playing a detective cop in the intense and gripping narrative of the murder mystery. The actress mentioned the character of investigating officer Jaspreet Bhamra deeply resonated with her sharing insights into what drew her to play the role. 

As always ruling the industry for over 2 decades the actress let the character speak through her eyes captivating the audience. Talking about her character in The Buckingham Murders, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, "I think the character's emotion is what connected me to her. I wanted to portray that emotional arc on screen. She is also one of my favorite characters to play - a detective."

She further added, “The character has so much soul. I thought it was the right time for me to do the character, to feel the character. Also, it is so much different from Crew or Jaane Jaan that also released this year. And I also think it is the duty of an actor to keep doing something differently over and over again.” 

She even opened up about managing a life alongside work and giving time to kids. “As far as balancing personal and professional life is concerned, I enjoy that hustle. I enjoy working at the same time being a mother and a wife. Jeh was there with me at the shoot.”

Hansal Mehta who has directed the movie called The Buckingham Murder a pan-world film rather than pan-India. During the trailer launch event, he said, “The Buckingham Murder is a pan-world movie.” The maverick filmmaker is known for his storytelling prowess through cinema. His latest offering located in Buckinghamshire, UK has been made in Hindi and Engish languages attracting the audiences across the world.
