Kareena Kapoor Khan on balancing motherhood and career also reveals her son Jeh was on set: 'I truly enjoy the hustle' at The Buckingham Murders trailer launch

At the recent trailer launch event for her upcoming murder mystery film The Buckingham Murders Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan expressed her enthusiasm for portraying a detective in the movie calling it one of her favorite roles. She also discussed how she balances her personal and professional obligations, highlighting the happiness that comes from doing so. “I truly enjoy the hustle of working while being a mother and wife. I love it.” She revealed that her younger son, Jeh, was present on the film’s set during production.

During the event, Kareena highlighted the profound emotions of her character Jasmeet Bhamra a British Indian detective who is grieving the loss of her child while probing the murder of another. This part stands out from her most recent roles, including Crew and Jaane Jaan, and Kareena connected with it because of its rich plot and story. She shared that she felt it was the moment to embrace such a multifaceted and impactful character.

Kareena stressed the significance of pushing her limits as an actress by taking on different characters. She believes it's vital for all actors to challenge themselves and views this approach as not only fulfilling but also crucial for advancing in her career.

Viewers may get a glimpse of the compelling plot of The Buckingham Murders, which revolves around the murder of a child in Wycombe, thanks to the recently released trailer. Tensions within the community are heightened by this horrific tragedy, especially after the arrest of a Muslim adolescent. The cast includes Kareena Kapoor, Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar and Keith Allen. The screenplay is penned by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakker marking Kareenas debut as a producer with backing from Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films, led by Shobha and Ektaa Kapoor. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on September 13.
