At the time of the release of Stree 2, it was announced that it would be impossible to stop it. This indication was also given by the initial results at the box office. Now with every day women are making new records and breaking old ones, so this claim becomes even stronger. Women have entered the world which was once ruled only by men. Yes, this is the world of box office. The box office has often been ruled by such films which have been running in the name of the hero. But Stree 2 has shown that if there is strength in the story and perfection in acting then nothing else matters.
The budget of film Stree 2 is around Rs 50 crore. The film has earned around Rs 700 crore worldwide while it has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the Indian box office. Stree 2 has already broken the records of Hrithik Roshan's Fighter and Ajay Devgan's Shaitan, released this year. The next victim has become Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol's Animal. Animal had collected approximately Rs 502 crore at the Indian box office and Stree 2 has broken this record in 20 days. Stree 2 has collected approximately Rs 506 crore at the Indian box office in 20 days.
Now the next milestone that Stree has to cross is the Indian box office collection of Prabhas's Baahubali 2. The net collection of Bahubali 2 in India was Rs 511 crore. This target does not seem difficult at all for a Stree. After this, it may be the turn of Shahrukh Khan's film Pathan. Whose net box office collection in India was Rs 524 crore, while Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 was Rs 525 crore.
If we look at the current condition of the box office, the field is clear for Stree 2. There is no big release in September. The movement of films will start from Dussehra i.e. 10th October. In such a situation, Stree 2 can take full advantage of the vacant weekends. If Stree 2 shows a little more courage at the box office, it can surpass Shahrukh Khan's Jawan as the highest grossing film in India. Jawan had collected a net of Rs 580 crore from the Hindi version in India.
