Ananya Panday reveals she with Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor is obsessed with Uorfi Javed’s show Follow Karlo Yaar

Ananya Panday is gearing up for her OTT debut with the Amazon Prime Video original show Call Me Bae. The actress channels her inner chick in this modern coming-of-age comedy-drama centered around the journey of bae from heiress to hustler. Ananya in real life lives a privileged life with her besties Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. She recently shared her Veeres reaction to the trailer of Call Me Bae and mentioned they are currently obsessed with Uorfi Javed’s docu-series Follow Karlo Yaar. 

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Ananya was asked if her friends Suhana and Shanaya had watched the trailer of her upcoming show. To this, she replied, “Ya, they loved it. They can’t wait to watch it.” These three girlfriends are budding promising actresses in the Bollywood. Talking about competing with her pals, Ananya said, “We have been friends since when I used to literally sleep on Shanaya’s mom’s baby bump when Shanaya was in her tummy. So, we were friends before we were born also, practically. So, there’s no competition. It’s like family.”

In the same interview Dream Girl 2 actress shared that they are right obsessed with Uorfi Javed’s show Follow Karlo Yaar which is also streaming on Amazon Prime Video. She mentioned that her gang talks about all topics like the Olympics and others. Panday said, “We don’t talk about the industry as much as people think we talk about the industry. We talk about every other thing. We were really into the Olympics now we’re very into Uorfi’s show, very obsessed with that show. So, we keep talking about different things.”

Call Me Bae is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment production with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra as executive producers, the series has been directed by Collin D'Cunha and created by Ishita Moitra, who has also written the series along with Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair. Call Me Bae will premiere in Hindi, with dubs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, exclusively on Prime Video on September 6.
