Deepak Tijori reveals being annoyed by Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan’s THIS habbit

Deepak Tijori is a well-known name in the industry playing a friend or negative role alongside the lead. He has worked with several A-lister actors during his time in the 90s magical Bollywood phase. He has worked with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan in various movies. Recently the actor recalled he enjoyed working with them but was also annoyed by one of their habits during filming.

Popularly Deepak Tijori played negative roles opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan in Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar respectively. He has even worked with them in Baadshah and Ghulam. In an interview with Radio Nasha, the actor shared his experience of working with SRK and Aamir. During the conversation, he was asked to pick his favorite among the two. Answering this the actor recalled one common habit off theirs that annoyed him.

Deepak said, "Both are equal to me because I would argue with them over the same thing: that they rehearse a lot! Uske baad mujhe takleef hoti thi (Then I would have a problem with that). I was more impromptu and would tell them I would do the reading; you guys do your rehearsals.”

He then recalled another anecdote from the sets of Pehla Nasha where he was accompanied by Pooja Bhatt and Raveena Tandon. The movie marked directorial debut of Ashutosh Gowariker. Tijori shared, “On the sets of that film, we would reach before time and play dumb charades! The entire unit, including Ashutosh Gowariker, and all the actors. Raveena would say this is a ‘mad unit’ because we would come before time, play games and then shoot!”

Deepak Tijori made his comeback to direction with the Hindi-language drama thriller film Tipppsy.
