Kangana Ranaut addresses 'Emergency' censor controversy: "There's a price for waking a sleeping nation"

The controversy regarding Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' is continuously deepening. Actress turned politician Kangana often remains in the headlines due to her outspoken statements. The makers of Kangana Ranaut's film Emergency approached the Bombay High Court seeking direction to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to issue a certificate for the film. However, the Court refused to issue any order and said that it cannot pass the order to the CBFC because of the order passed by the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Reacting to this, Kangana said that she has become 'everyone's target' and she is paying the price for waking up the 'sleeping nation'. "They don't know what I'm talking about, they have no idea why I'm so concerned, because they want peace, they don't want to take sides. They're cool," she wrote on X.

Apart from this, Kangana said, "I wish that poor soldier on the border had the same privilege of remaining silent, I wish he did not need to take sides and consider the Pakistanis/Chinese as his enemies. He is protecting you, while you are protecting him from terrorists or I wish the young woman whose only crime was that she was alone on the street and was raped, might have been a gentle and kind person who loved humanity, but was her humanity repaid Went?"

The actress said, "I wish that all the robbers and criminals also got love and affection like this quiet and sleeping generation, but the truth of life is different. Don't worry, they are coming after you, if some of us also become calm like you, they will catch you and then you will know the importance of friendly people."

Let us tell you that the allegation regarding the film was that wrong historical facts have been shown in the trailer of the film, which not only misrepresent the Sikh community but also promote hatred and social discord.
