If recent media reports are to be believed, Pushpa actor Fahadh Fassil is set to make an entry into Bollywood following a successful career in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. The audience appreciated his performance in Vikram and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise. His pan-India fans are keen to see him in Hindi cinema with ace filmmaker Imtiaz Ali in a musical love story. It will be exciting to see Faasil and Ali blend their magic of acting and filmmaking.
According to Pinkvilla reports, a source stated, “Fahadh and Imtiaz have done several meetings over the last few months, and their energies have aligned in the right way. Both of them prefer to work in the right set up, and are set to team up for the first time. Fahadh is also excited to debut in the Hindi space with a director like Imtiaz.”
The source further added, “Imtiaz is making a pure love story and the casting for the female protagonist is underway. He is excited about the subject and feels this is the right time to tell the story. He has gone ahead to pitch the film to Fahadh because he feels that the actor fits the bill and the story calls for his casting.”
On the work front, Fahadh Faasil is gearing up Pushpa 2: The Rule, a sequel to Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer hit Pushpa: The Rise. He will reprise his negative role from the first chapter of the film series directed by Sukumar. He also has Tamil film Vettaiyan in the pipeline.
