In her recent interview, Esha recalled that she was often compared to her mother Hema Malini, who was a superstar for a long time, and she felt that the comparison was unfair as she had just started her career. His first film was 'Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe' released in 2002.

Speaking on Zoom, Esha said that she was very excited to start working in films, but after the films were released and things were written, the pressure started increasing. Then I felt that in my first film they were comparing me with my mother, who has done 200 films. And they talked a lot about my baby fat.
