Prime Video, India’s leading entertainment platform, has unveiled the exclusive global premiere date for its highly anticipated Tamil Original comedy-drama series Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam. Directed by Naga and penned by Balakumaran Murugesan, the eight-episode series is produced by The Viral Fever (TVF). It will be available for streaming on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide starting September 20. The series will premiere in Tamil, with English subtitles provided.

Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam offers a heartwarming portrayal of life in rural Tamil Nadu, brought to life by a talented ensemble cast featuring Abishek Kumar, Chetan Kadambi, Devadarshini, Niyathi, Anand Sami, and Paul Raj in pivotal roles. The story centers around Sidharth (Abishek Kumar), a Chennai-based engineering graduate who finds himself out of his depth when he reluctantly accepts a position as a secretary in the remote village of Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam. Navigating the peculiarities of rural life and the village’s eccentric residents, Sidharth’s journey turns into a comedy of errors filled with twists, turns, and laughter.
