Imran Khan opens up about Mental Health; Credits Ira Khan for her role in spreading awareness

Imran Khan is a well-known Bollywood actor. He is known for films like 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' etc. He was not seen in films for a long time, but he is ready to return to the screen once again. His fans are trending on social media for his comeback, pleading him to come back to films. Imran is in the headlines again after a long time. Meanwhile, he has also talked about mental health. During this, he has also mentioned Bollywood superstar and his maternal uncle Aamir Khan and his daughter Ayra Khan.

During a recent interview with News 18 Shosha, He revealed that he has experienced a lot of mental stress. He mentioned the inspiration he got from his family for talking openly about this. He told how his cousin and Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan played an important role in this. Ira runs a community organisation to spread awareness about mental health.

He said, "In the last few years, we have sat and talked many times. Last year, Ira started spreading awareness on mental health and I started coming into the public eye again. I started talking about my journey. Now the interesting thing is that when we meet together, we talk about mental health, consciousness and health related patterns, now it has become a common thing and everyone understands each other's mental stress. Have started helping them understand and keep them mentally healthy."

Talking about Imran's work front, he was last seen in the film 'Katti Batti' in 2015. After this film, he was going to be seen in director Abbas Tyrewala's espionage thriller, but later it was stopped. However, the actor later expressed happiness over this and said that he did not want to play a character who solves problems with a gun. Some time back, news had come that Imran is going to make a comeback with a comedy film, the name of which is said to be 'Happy Patel'.
