Anant Ambani donates 20-Kg gold crown to Lalbaugcha Raja for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations

Ganesh Utsav is starting from tomorrow i.e. Saturday. Meanwhile, the first glimpse of Lalbaugcha Raja of Mumbai has come in front of the devotees. In this, the idol of Lord Ganesha is wearing a crown of 20 kg gold. According to the news published in our associate Economic Times, this crown has been gifted by Mukesh Ambani's youngest son Anant Ambani and Reliance Foundation. Its price is said to be Rs 15 crore. This crown of the king of Lal Bagh remains the centre of attraction for the devotees coming here. Like every year, this year also Lalbaugcha Raja Public Ganeshotsav Mandal is celebrating the Ganeshotsav of Lalbaugcha Raja. It will start from tomorrow i.e. Saturday and will continue till Tuesday i.e. 17th September. 

The first glimpse of Lalbaugcha Raja was revealed yesterday evening. In this, the idol of Lord Ganesha has been decorated with attractive clothes and jewellery. The highlight of this year's display is the grand gold crown. It took two months to prepare it. Let us tell you that Lalbaghcha Raja, known as 'King of Lalbagh', is one of the most visited Ganesh Mandals in Mumbai. Every year devotees from all walks of life are desperate to catch a glimpse of the idol of Lord Ganesha.

Anant Ambani has been associated with Lalbaghcha Raja for 15 years. They have been participating enthusiastically in this festival. Ambani has often attended Ganeshotsav celebrations and the grand immersion ceremony at Girgaum Chowpatty Beach. During Corona, when the Lalbaugcha Raja Committee faced a poor financial situation, Anant Ambani helped a lot. In view of Anant Ambani's contribution, he has been given honorary membership of Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav Mandal.
