Ananya Panday who is busy promoting her new series Call Me Bae recently opened up about her friendship with childhood pals Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. The actress known for her role in Pati Patni Aur Woh frequently shares insights about her bond with her best friends. In a recent interview with Ishq Tak she added a touch of fun by revealing an interesting titbit about their relationship.

Ananya revealed that she and her girl gang have a go to song that gets them dancing. She specifically mentioned her bond with Shanaya Kapoor when it comes to Sheila Ki Jawani, the famous song from Tees Maar Khan featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

"The one song that we always dance to is Sheila Ki Jawani, which is actually Shanaya's favourite song," Ananya shared that whenever the song comes on, she steps into Akshay Kumar’s shoes while Shanaya embraces her inner Katrina Kaif portraying Sheila’s character.

This news comes to light following the glamorous debut of Call Me Bae in Mumbai. Ananya's close friends Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor were present at the event. Suhana was seen with her alleged boyfriend and co-star in The Archies Agastya Nanda while Shanaya struck a pose alone for the photographers.

During a recent chat with Pinkvilla Ananya discussed her bond with Shanaya and clarified that there is no sense of competition between them as they both pursue their acting paths. "We’ve been friends since before Shanaya was even born! I used to sleep on her mom’s baby bump. So, there’s no competition, we’re like family," Ananya explained.
