As the delightful news circulated, fellow celebrities such as Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Sara Ali Khan swiftly shared their heartfelt congratulations with the new parents. One of the people sending them good wishes was the director Prasanth Varma. His message of congratulations for the couple caught the eye of many especially with rumours swirling about a rift between him and Ranveer.

The rumoured conflict between the director and the actor apparently arose during their work on the movie Rakshas. This film was supposed to mark Ranveer Singh's debut collaboration with Varma and it was rumoured to include themes and showcase Ranveer in an antagonistic role. However, the project faced a setback as reports suggest that Ranveer withdrew from the film due to disagreements over the creative direction.

In July Varma made a post on social media that many people thought was directed at Ranveer Singh stirring up speculation about a disagreement between them. Nonetheless in spite of the gossip Varma's latest message of congratulations suggests that any conflicts between the two have been set aside as they join forces to commemorate this happy occasion.
