Actor Vikas Sethi's last rites will be held in Mumbai, he died of a heart attack at the age of 48

Famous actor Vikas Sethi died on Sunday, September 8 at the age of 48. The entertainment world is mourning his death. Vikas became famous by playing the role of Robbie, friend of Kareena Kapoor Khan's character Pooja in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. According to reports, Vikas died of a heart attack.

His wife Jahnavi Sethi mourned his demise on social media and announced that his last rites will be performed in Mumbai on Monday as per Hindu traditions. Their official statement said, 'With great sadness, we inform you about the demise of our dear Vikas Sethi, who left us all on 8 September 2024. The last rites will be performed on 9 September as per Hindu traditions. Your presence, prayers and support will be greatly appreciated in this difficult time.'

 

According to media reports, Vikas and Janhvi had gone to Nashik to attend a family function. However, the actor vomited and his stomach got upset. His wife revealed that he did not want to go to the hospital, so she asked the doctor to come home. She told PTI, 'When I went to wake him up at around 6 am, he was no more. The doctor there said that he died of cardiac arrest in his sleep last night.'

Vikas' body was sent for postmortem to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. Vikas was a well-known face on television. He played an important supporting role in Ekta Kapoor's 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. He was also a part of shows like 'Kahin To Hoga' and 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'. His demise has left the TV world in a state of grief.
