Gippy Grewal a Punjabi singer and actor recently shared a funny story about his first meeting with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. In an interview with Mashable India Gippy recalled their encounter on the set of the song Character Dheela. At that time, he wasn't very confident in Hindi and didn't know how to approach the superstar. So, he ended up saying "Paji, dole shole" which means "brother, check out those muscles."

Gippy was taken aback when Khan replied with a puzzled "Huh?" In response fellow artist Diljit Dosanjh playfully suggested that he steer clear of making remarks like that. "Diljit suggested that I shouldn’t have said that because Salman might get upset," Gippy recalled with a laugh.

In terms of his career Salman Khan is occupied with the shooting of Sikandar, under the direction of AR Murugadoss. The cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar and Sathyaraj. Despite facing a rib injury Khan has returned to filming this eagerly awaited movie which showcases an elaborate set inspired by Mumbais Dharavi and Matunga areas with a reported budget of 15 crore rupees.

The shooting plan for Sikandar is set to take around 45 days before the team heads to a palace in Hyderabad for the next stage of production. In the movie Khan portrays a character who is portrayed as arrogant and comes from a background showcasing the true essence of a ‘Sikandar.’ This character shares a ‘bad boy’ image reminiscent of Khan’s role in Sultan and has already generated buzz among fans.

In the initial shooting schedule Salman filmed a thrilling action scene on a private jet battling the villain’s son portrayed by Sathyaraj. Salman is said to be working with directors from Mission Impossible to execute some jaw dropping stunts. During the next shooting phase, the actor is set to film three action sequences, one of which involves a breathtaking aerial stunt. Sikandar produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson label is scheduled to hit theatres on Eid 2025.

Apart from Sikandar, Salman is also on board for a collaboration with Kamal Haasan and Atlee. The shooting of this yet to be titled venture is scheduled to kick off in 2025 while the pre-production phase is set to commence in October 2024.
