Kangana Ranaut sells Bandra bungalow at rs 8 crore loss amidst controversy and legal battles

Bollywood actress turned BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has been in the news for quite some time now for her much-awaited upcoming film 'Emergency'. The film was to be released in theatres on 6 September, but after the trailer release, the film got into controversies, and demands started rising to stop its release. Not only this, the certificate to be given to the film was also stopped, which the film has now received and soon its new release date will be announced.

Meanwhile, big news related to Kangana Ranaut is coming out, which has surprised everyone. Kangana has recently sold her luxurious bungalow in Bandra Pali Hill. BMC's bulldozer also ran on this bungalow of Kangana 4 years ago in 2020. Last month, a YouTube page named 'Code Estate' uploaded a video in which it was told that the office of a production house is for sale. Although the name of that production house and its owner was not mentioned, it seemed in the video that it was Kangana's office.

Many social media users also speculated in the comments that this office could be Kangana's. In the uploaded video, it was said that Kangana Ranaut's bungalow and the area around it together is 285 square metres. It has a bungalow of 3042 square feet and a parking lot of 500 square feet. The bungalow has two floors and its price was said to be Rs 40 crore. But the bungalow has been sold for Rs 32 crore, due to which Kangana has suffered a direct loss of Rs 8 crore. In such a situation, the question now arises that why did Kangana sell the bungalow with such a huge loss?

Not only this, this is the same bungalow of Kangana, on which BMC's bulldozer ran 4 years ago in 2020. BMC demolished some parts of Kangana Ranaut's office citing illegal construction. On September 9, the demolition work in the house was stopped due to the stay order of the Bombay High Court. Kangana filed a case against BMC and demanded Rs 2 crore as compensation. But in May 2023, she withdrew her compensation petition. Let us tell you, Kangana bought this bungalow in 2017 and it has been bought by Shweta Bathija, partner of Kamalini Holdings, who lives in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
