Fardeen Khan opens up about working with Riteish Deshmukh in Visfot, calls ‘It was easier to slip in character’

Fardeen Khan recently returned to Bollywood after a break of 14 years and he talked about his close relationship with actor Riteish Deshmukh. The two actors who starred together in Heyy Babyy reconnected for the film Visfot. Fardeen mentioned that their friendship made it easier to work together on the project.

During a recent chat with News18 Showsha Fardeen opened up about his collaboration with Riteish highlighting the bond of friendship and faith they have built over time. “I know Riteish very, very well. There’s a lot of comfort, trust, and respect between us. We both have a reasonable amount of experience under our belts, so it’s easier for us to slip into our characters as part of any story.”

Fardeen expressed admiration for Riteish's portrayal in Visfot describing it as one of the highlights of his career. “The depth and honesty with which he has portrayed the emotions in the film are brilliant. His role is really complex, and he has executed it masterfully. It’s going to be one of his standout performances,” he added.

After taking a break from the industry Fardeen made his comeback to the screen this year with Heeramandi and later Visfot. In discussing his return, he expressed his appreciation for rejoining Bollywood during a period when rich content is being produced. Looking back on his time away Fardeen considers it a gift that has enabled him to come back without any emotional or work-related burdens.

Fardeen explained “I came back after 12 years with a fresh perspective, like a newcomer. I didn’t know what kind of roles would be offered to me, but I focused on picking those that I felt would allow me to contribute meaningfully to the story.”

When discussing how he tackles new roles Fardeen shared that in Heeramandi he appears in nine scenes and takes on a part in Khel Khel Mein. In Visfot he plays a lead character alongside Riteish Deshmukh showcasing his enthusiasm for embracing diverse characters during his comeback in Bollywood.
