In a recent conversation with The Dirty Magazine, the actor opened up about his thoughts on marriage, his aspirations of starting a family, and his perspective on relationships.

The 28-year-old actor expressed that with the approach of his 30s, he has developed greater self-confidence and is determined to unlock his artistic potential. In addition to his career goals Ishaan also shared his strong wish to start a family and have kids. He mentioned, "I also think of having a family, kids. I'm simple like that. I hopefully want to do it once, one and done. I do believe you can have one partner, be monogamous."

Looking back on his twenties the Dhadak actor shared that he has come to value the sanctity of marriage and the concept of being committed to a single partner. “Whenever I've felt a real connection in my life, something that’s more than just chemistry and comfort, I’d like to be idealistic and think I can hold on to it. If I do it, I want to do it with a sense of abandon and belief,” he added.

In the interview Ishaan dropped a hint about having someone significant in his life although he refrained from revealing any names. The Phone Bhoot star expressed that although he tends to keep his matters under wraps he is presently seeing someone who is not as well-known as he is. Recognizing the difficulties of being a public figure in the dating scene he commented, "I’m very aware of how it affects the women I’m with. I can’t control when, where, and how they’re going to be photographed."
