Rajkummar Rao, who is currently riding high on the success of Stree 2, is set for his next film titled Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The trailer of the comedy-drama was released today in Mumbai in the presence of leading cast Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri, and producer Bhushan Kumar among others. The actor has basked in praise for his work and remarkable performances in films over the years. During the event, Rao expressed why he doesn’t compare himself with Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and others.

Rajkummar Rao being an honest fan gave a heart-melting response which left fans admiring him more. The Stree actor says he doesn’t compete with his superstars. He was quoted saying, “I have learned a lot from them. They are the only ones in my dreams who have watched these films. They are our superstars. And you don't compete with your superstars. You give them love. I am also a fan of theirs.”

He further mentioned big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Akshay Kumar, and said “We have learned from them. They will always be my superstars. I will always look up to them.”

At the same event, Rajkummar further opened up on the success of Stree 2. When asked if things changed after Stree 2 success, he responded, “The only thing that has changed is that people have loved the movie. The love that people have given me on social media, personal life, messages, and calls.” He even mentioned that lately, he felt emotionally vulnerable as his fans considered his success as a personal victory.

He further added, “Many people told me that it feels like we won, it's not only your win. Many people had kept themselves strong from my journey. That you won, it feels like we won, you give us hope. Which I think was overwhelming for me. There is no other change, I am still the same.” 

Rajkummar Rao will be next seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced under T-Series, Balaji Motion Pictures, Wakaoo Films, and Kathavachak Films. He also has the action thriller Maalik in the pipeline.
