Adnan Sami set to make a comeback with Rajkummar Rao’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video

The entertainment-packed trailer of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video featuring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri was released yesterday. The film is dated back in the 90s when VHS tapes were a big deal. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa the film is quirky and vibrant transporting the viewers to the iconic 90s era. The trailer has captivated the audience with the story revolving around a VHS tape featuring a personal video of a couple that formed a mess in the small town. Adding to the excitement of the film is the new update of Adnan Sami joining the team.

Adnan Sami is reported to be making a return to Bollywood after 9 years with Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The music of the comedy-drama is composed by the dynamic duo Sachin-Jigar. Reportedly, they will be joined by the legendary Anan Sami whose musical contribution has always been special. His distinctive style would be cherry on the top for the film’s 90s setting. 

Adnan Sami’s involvement in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Sachin Jigar could bring fresh yet nostalgic touch to the film. Fans of his music and the film’s genre are really in for a treat. In an interview with News18, Sachin Sanghvi of Sachin-Jigar expressed his affection for collaborating with the iconic singer. He said, “I was born in the 80s. I was in my teen years in the 90s. So, I’ve lived every bit of the music of the 90s. The songs of that decade left a strong impression on me, and one of the songs in the film is sung by Adnan Sami.”

Sachin further added, “I truly cherish the fact that we could do this because my god, haven’t we enjoyed his melodies and his reign! What a talent and what a person he is! It was just amazing to work with him. So, be assured that those times are coming your way again.”

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video promises to be 97% parivarik, 3% maha parivarik with a unique mix of humor and nostalgia. The film produced by Bhushan Kumar under T-Series banner is slated to release in theaters on October 11.
