Bollywood celebs higher entourage cost is the most discussed topic in the industry right now. Many filmmakers have expressed how actors high fees have affected their filmmaking budget and how they have struggled to afford it at the cost of owning the debt. Many actors demanded higher fees including entourage costs over their minimal output. Now Rakul Preet Singh has shared her opinion on the subject.

Speaking to Ranveer Allahbbadia for his Beer Biceps podcast, Rakul Preet Singh joined the list of celebs who commented on high entourage cost. She agreed that actors' fears are fuelled by their entourages. The actress who is a prominent name in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema reflected on Rohit Shetty’s opinion about the difficulties of producing multi-starrer films

When asked if actors' fears are fuelled by their entourages, Rakul said, “Yes, you’re right. You’ve to be silly to believe everything you hear. A lot of people will give you several advices, but you’ve to use your own mind. What Rohit sir said is probably right. In South, the old school single manager system is still in place. They don’t have a huge entourage; you don’t have 10 people telling you what’s good for your positioning or what’s not.”

She highlighted the need to appreciate advice but eventually trust own decision. She said, “It’s important to listen and respect them. They know what they’re saying but do what you feel is right. As an actor, your actions will go out in the public, so you’ve to be responsible for yourself.”

Rakul further added, “You are who you surround yourself with. You spend more time with your core team—hair and makeup, spot boy—so it’s important to know what energy they carry. I don’t want to listen to gossip at 7 in the morning, I’m not interested in knowing about someone else’s life.” 

Rakul Preet Singh will be next seen in De De Pyaar De 2 collaborating with Ajay Devgn extending the film franchise. The film will also star R Madhavan in the lead role and is slated for release in the summer of 2025.
