Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh are all set to rekindle their on-screen chemistry in the highly anticipated film Jigra, with their collaboration on the track Chal Kudiye. The internet is abuzz after behind-the-scenes photos of the duo were shared on social media, elevating the excitement around this Ikk Kudi duo's musical reunion.
On September 16, Diljit Dosanjh’s team took to Instagram to post a series of behind-the-scenes images from the shoot of Chal Kudiye. In the photos, Diljit is seen sporting an all-white ensemble, while Alia keeps it casual in a black t-shirt and jeans, the latter featuring a drawing of siblings—likely referencing her character in the film. The photos show the pair striking stylish poses alongside the crew, with solo shots of Diljit flaunting his look, as well as moments of the two conversing on set. In one standout image, they share a light-hearted moment, greeting each other with folded hands.
Fans flooded the comments section, eagerly expressing their anticipation. "Can't wait!" wrote one user, while another dubbed them an "Epic pair." The post was filled with hearts and fire emojis, with many calling the collaboration “Excited pro max.”
A teaser for Chal Kudiye was recently released, offering fans a sneak peek of the track. Alia and Diljit are seen together in the brief clip, with Diljit’s voice ringing out the catchy lyrics, “Chal Kudiye, Uth Kudiye.” While the official release date for the song remains under wraps, it’s expected to drop soon.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is a prison-break action thriller starring Alia Bhatt in the lead role, alongside Vedang Raina as her brother. The film is produced by Viacom18 Studios, Dharma Productions, and Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 11.
