Stree 2 starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor denis to stop at the box office. The Maddock Film's fifth installment of the supernatural horror universe continues to mint money even after a month of theatrical release. Turning a blockbuster on day 1 the film has crossed all box office records. The horror comedy flick helmed by Amar Kaushik is now moving towards becoming highest Hindi grosser film ever.
The sequel to 2018 hit Stree brings back the original cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khuurrana. The second chapter of the horror series has become a rage ruling the box office. It has experienced a surge in collection in the 5th weekend.
It has entered the Rs 500 crore club eying to break Jawan’s record of highest grossing Hindi film. On day 32 Stree 2 collected Rs 7 crore making it a total of Rs 535.15 crore.
Earlier, Stree 2 surpassed records of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Now Maddock Films' horror flick is aiming to the record of Jawan which has set the milestone of being the highest grossing at the box office in Hindi cinema. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi starrer holds the record of Rs 583 crore collection. If Stree 2 run continues to run phenomenally, it will soon surpass this feat as well.
Stree 2 has conquered yet another record registering highest ever collection on Day 32 in the Hindi cinema history. It defeated KGF: Chapter 2 record of collecting Rs 10.12 crore in its 5th weekend. Not just this, Stree 2 has outperformed top-grossing movies throughout its box office run.
Following the success of Stree 2 audience is eagerly awaiting for Stree 3 which promises more horror, laughter, humour and cinematic experience with a possible addition of Akshay Kumar. The makers have already started working on the third chapter but there is no confirmation on expected release.
