Shraddha Kapoor who is riding high on the success of Stree 2 recently had a playful exchange with her fans where she added a twist to the mystery surrounding her character’s name. In her return to the role, she portrayed in the hit film from 2018 Shraddha kept her character’s name under wraps but hinted those fans won’t have to wait long for the reveal promising to disclose it in Stree 3.

On September 15 Shraddha shared some behind the scenes moments from Stree 2 on Instagram. She posted a reel that included selfies a sneak peek of her character's look and director Amar Kaushik playfully posing with Shraddha's character's signature braid around his neck. Fans also got to see some action sequences as Shraddha accompanied the visuals with contrasting audio blending the romantic song "Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum" with the spooky Chamatkaari Choti theme, “50% Pookie 50% Maaru kya???” hinted at her character.

Through a clever comment that kept things cheerful the interaction highlighted her camaraderie with her supporters bringing a bit of humor to the dialogue, “Pakka bataungi! Stree 3 mein (I will tell for sure in Stree 3).” She kept a whimsical atmosphere as she engaged with fellow fans responding to an inquiry from one of them, "Ye pokkie kya hota hai re?" with, “Memes studies mein aur dhyaan do, pata chal jayega (Pay more attention to meme studies and you’ll find out).”

Fans couldn't contain their excitement, one stating, “Thappar sy dar nai lgta, Stree sy lgta hai! (I’m not scared of a slap but of Stree),” Shraddha funnily replied, “Choti se lagta hai (The braid creates fear).” Another fan joked about Amar Kaushik using Shraddha’s braid as a scarf, to which she replied, “Woh Amar sir hai, woh kuch bhi kar sakte hai (He’s Amar sir, he can do anything).”

Stree 2 features a star-studded cast with Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande the movie has been a success at the box office since its release on Independence Day. The plot picks up the supernatural storyline from the 2018 film Stree, revisiting the eerie happenings in Chanderi where a new antagonist named Sarkata terrorizes the town.

As Stree 3 is already in the pipeline and additional projects are on the horizon within the Maddock Supernatural Universe fans can look forward to a dose of excitement and intrigue with Shraddha Kapoor's character keeping them hooked.
