Sana Makbul is currently dating Telugu businessman Srikanth Bureddi. Srikanth grabbed everyone's attention when he came to receive Sana at the grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT 3 in Mumbai. He confirmed their relationship while addressing the media and even said that he is planning to marry her very soon. Now in an interview with News18, Sana said that she has never been interested in actors and revealed why she never wanted to date them.
She says, "I have some actor friends who are either married or dating, but they don't have that sense of security. Understanding each other is rare and it's beautiful. It's very important to take each other's criticisms positively. Everyone has their own view about this, but I have never dated an actor. I have never been in such a situation. I always looked for someone from outside the industry, maybe a businessman. And since I don't have the experience of dating an actor, I don't know how it works."
But one couple she idolises is Neha Kakkar and her husband Rohanpreet Singh. Sana recently worked with Rohanpreet in the recently released music video Kaala Maal. Talking about them, she says, “If I talk about Rohanpreet and Neha, there is an understanding between them and that is what a partnership is all about. It is all about appreciating each other. If you and your partner are compatible, half the battle is already won. As husband and wife, they also understand each other’s profession.”
Sana admitted that it is never easy for couples who are from the same profession. And commenting on how one should not take criticisms to heart in a relationship, the Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner said, “Judgement is a deal-breaker. They may not like each other’s work, but if they have transparency when it comes to communication, then it becomes a lot easier. Neha and Rohanpreet value each other a lot and that is why they are together. I look at them and feel really jealous (laughs). I am in awe of them. I want to have what they have.”
Kaala Maal showcases the ups and downs of a modern-day couple. And although she is a woman of today, she tells us that modern dating is not for her. Emphasising on how she supports the idea of dating apps, Sana comments, "I am not into left swipes and right swipes. That's a big cross! I am really old fashioned. Commitment is very important to me. If I have made a commitment to someone, I will be with them forever. My mantra is either don't be in a relationship or keep it up if you have given your word to someone."
