Nawazuddin Siddiqui renowned for his exceptional acting and honest opinions recently grabbed attention with his disclosure. In a promotional chat for his new song Saiyaan Ki Bandook the Gangs of Wasseypur star admitted that he has never seen any movies featuring Deepika Padukone and is not well acquainted with Stree 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor.
During an interview with Filmygyan Nawazuddin was asked to come up with hashtags for various Bollywood stars. When it came to Deepika Padukone he surprised everyone with his answer by saying, “Maine koi kaam dekha nai hai (I haven’t seen any of her work). I don’t know.” His remarks continued to surprise as he revealed a similar lack of knowledge about Shraddha Kapoor, admitting, “I don’t know anything about Shraddha.” Even though he has not watched the hit movie Stree yet Nawaz assured that he would make time for it.
Nawaz expressed his admiration for his Tiku Weds Sheru co star Avneet Kaur. “Bahut kamaal hai aur self-dependent hai, aur actor to bahut achi hai (She is amazing, self-reliant, and a brilliant actor).”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been occupied with a range of projects lately. Fans were thrilled to see the cult classic Gangs of Wasseypur back on screen. Furthermore, the actor marked the debut of Sabbir Khan's supernatural thriller Adbhut which made its premiere on September 15 on Sony Max. The movie stars Diana Penty, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Rohan Mehra and is produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in collaboration with Sabbir Khan Films.
Speaking about Adbhut, he shared, “For me, it’s exciting to see a film reach millions of people at once through television. The supernatural genre has always intrigued me, and I believe audiences will find the experience both thrilling and thought-provoking.”
In the future Nawazuddin has a line-up of projects in the works such as Noorani Chehra featuring Nupur Sanon and the highly anticipated Sangeen. With an array of roles and performances Nawaz remains in the limelight not only for his acting but also for his intriguing personal revelations.
