A film festival is organised in the name of Bollywood's leading actress Kareena Kapoor Khan to recognise her contribution to hindi cinema. The multi-city film festival is to be dedicated to Kareena's outstanding career and will showcase some of her major films.
On Monday, actress Kareena Kapoor expressed her excitement about the film festival dedicated to her on her Instagram. Kareena said, 'Blood in my veins, magic on screen... my work that I love... the fire within... for the next 25. Thank you PVR Cinemas and Inox for curating this beautiful festival. So grateful.' The film festival will be screened from 20th September to 27th September, 2024 in selected PVR theaters.
Kareena Kapoor also shared the trailer of the film festival. It includes clips of Kareena's characters, including Geet from 'Jab We Met' and 'Poo' from 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan's film 'The Buckingham Murders' has been released in theatres. Kareena is also receiving a lot of appreciation for her role in the film. The film is directed by Hansal Mehta.
Kareena started her career with the 2000 film 'Refugee'. Abhishek Bachchan also made his debut with 'Refugee'. However, this film failed at the box office. In her 25-year career, Kareena has worked in many films like 'Chameli', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', 'Jab We Met', 'Talaash', 'Aitraaz', 'Crew' and 'Jaane Jaan' and so on.
Talking about Kareena Kapoor's upcoming work, she will be seen in famous director Meghna Gulzar's new film 'Dayra' in the coming months. She also has Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'. 'Singham Again' also stars Ajay Devgan, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. This is the third instalment of the super-hit franchise.
