Archana Puran Singh, a cherished personality on The Kapil Sharma Show and an experienced actor in the Hindi film industry, recently reminisced about her time on the sets of the legendary movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Recognized for portraying Ms. Braganza in the film Archana fondly recounted a heartwarming story featuring the renowned Shah Rukh Khan during a conversation with Bollywood Bubble.

As Archana looked back on the filming of the hit song Koi Mil Gaya, she was shown a picture capturing her alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Anupam Kher. She reminisced about Shah Rukh’s signature humility and warmth that he brought to the set.

Archana shared. "This was during the shoot at Mehboob Studios, on stage 2, I believe. The makeup rooms were very far from the set, and Shah Rukh had a van, but Kajol didn’t. I was wearing heels, and after dancing, it was tough to move around. Shah Rukh, being the gentleman he is, offered me his van to rest."

She continued, "There was a long gap between shots, and I ended up dozing off in his van. When Shah Rukh came back, instead of waking me, he whispered to not disturb my sleep and quietly left for his shot. It was such a considerate and sweet gesture."

Archana reminisced about the response of producer Yash Johar to the whole scenario. "Yash ji got upset when he noticed Shah Rukh was out of his van. He asked why, and when Shah Rukh explained that I was resting inside, Yash ji asked, ‘Who is sleeping in your van?’ Shah Rukh replied, ‘Archana ji.’ He was so kind about the whole thing.”

The actress continued to compliment Shah Rukh referring to him as a genuine man and sharing a playful memory of her sneaking some treats from his refrigerator. "When I woke up, I was starving. I shooed away the spot boy and ate half the sweets from his fridge," she laughed.
