Kareena Kapoor Khan has touched one of the biggest milestones of her career completing 25 years in the industry. Celebrating 25 years in Indian cinema a film festival is announced dedicated to her. A few of her iconic movies will be re-released in theaters to revisit and celebrate her journey and contribution to the cinema. The actress shared which one of her movies she would want her kids Taimur and Jeh should watch in theaters.
On Wednesday, she attended an event in Mumbai held by PVR to announce Film Festival named after Kareena Kapoor Khan. During this festival, some of her best movies will re-run in theaters from September 20th to 27th. At the event, Bebo was questioned about which of her movies she would want her children should watch. Taimur and Jeh are not yet exposed to their mother Kareena Kapoor Khan’s movies and she wants Jab We Met to be their first time theatrical experience. As a part of a special film festival, she wants her kids should watch Jab We Met first.
Bebo expressed that she should get her kids to watch something during the ongoing film festival held in her honour. When asked to make a audience poll between Omkara and Jab We Met for Taimur and Jeh’s first movie, she said, “If I ask, everyone’s going to say Jab We Met. Omkara might be a little shocking for them with their father in such a role. But may be, Jab We Met. They haven’t started watching the films. But may be, Jab We Met.”
Jab We Met is undoubtedly the most cherished movie of her career. It also stars Shahid Kapoor alongside her in the Imtiaz Ali directorial. This movie released in 2007 earned the tag of iconic film Indian cinema.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in The Buckingham Murders which is currently running in theaters. She has also signed a biggest feature film marking her 25 years in the industry.
