In order to sustain her tremendous journey in Indian cinema PVR announced a special Film Festival dedicated to her. She has reached the biggest milestone of her career to have a film festival in her name after Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar.
Kareena Kapoor Khan becomes the first young actress to achieve this accomplishment in her career. Not just that she also became the first female actress to have a special film festival. No other female actresses in Indian Cinema have earned this phenomenal feat. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar had a Film Festival dedicated to them to celebrate their legendary contribution to cinema honoring their legacy and showcasing their iconic movies.
PVR Inox Kareena Kapoor Khan Film Festival is celebrated in order to glorify her phenomenal work and journey in Bollywood. A few of her most celebrated movies will screened in selective theaters across the country. The special film festival will held from September 20 to 27 rolling out across PVR and Inox theaters.
Kareena has remained an iconic star earning credibility for her highly cherished characters such as Poo, Geet, Chameli, Khushi and more. She always stayed relatable and never lost charm among the audience. She started her career at the age of 20 debuting in JP Duttaa’’s film Refugee in 2000. She continued to feature in over 50 films including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hu, Omkar, Jab We Met, Udta Punjab, Kurbaan, and more. Her most recent release is The Buckingham Murder which is currently running in theaters.
Meanwhile, she has signed the biggest feature film to mark her 25th year in the industry. She will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again reuniting with her Singham series co-star Ajay Devgn.
