Alia Bhatt who is gearing up for her upcoming action thriller Jigra is juggling between acting and motherhood. She is blessed to have little angle Raha Kapoor who will soon turn 30. The actress has been quite open about embracing motherhood and her and Ranbir Kapoor’s relationship with their daughter Raha. Alia admitted that she has got no time for herself and took no therapy sessions in the last two months.

In an interview with Allure magazine, Alia Bhatt gave a sneak peak into her life as a new mother. The actress asserted that her daughter has moments of shyness but she is also naughty and chatty. She calls her a bright baby but admits her real struggle is to balance life between work and being a mommy. She also confesses experiencing an emotional rollercoaster handling parenting duties.

Turning a mother has changed Alia Bhatt’s life. She said, “How do I ping-pong between the two and do them well, but also find a way to carve out time for myself, which I’m not able to do. I’ll be very candid right now—there’s no such thing as me time. I’ve not even been able to get a therapy session for the last two months.” She further added, "Your soul is sort of fulfilled, but you are also always full of fear and nerves because of just wanting to do it right and wanting to do it well."

She went on to add, "Children come through you. They’re yours, you are a catalyst, you are a source for their life, but their life is not yours. Their life is theirs, and you just need to give them the tools to deal with their life.”

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is set for her second production venture Jigra after Darlings. Apart from bankrolling the action thriller the lead character is played by herself. The film emphasizing sibling bonds also stars Vedang Raina as a brother. Directed by Vasan Bala the film is co-produced under the banners of Eternal Sunshine Productions and Dharma Productions. The movie is slated to open in cinemas on October 11.
