Before her debut, Alia Bhatt faced a panic attack- Here’s how father Mahesh Bhatt helped her through it

Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt is celebrating his 77th birthday today. Both father and daughter are famous for their work in the film industry. When his beloved daughter Alia Bhatt was starting her career with Karan Johar’s film “Student of the Year", her father helped her. Actually, Alia had a panic attack a day before the shooting started.

This was a very strange experience for Alia Bhatt. Alia once said in an interview to India Today that she had talked to her father about this. She was crying a lot and was also trembling. Her father called her to his office, where he talked to his daughter. When Alia went to her father's office, there were eight people present in a room, while she was assuming that her father would catch her. During that time, Mahesh Bhatt directly asked his daughter standing among the people, tell me how are you feeling now. How are you feeling?

Mahesh Bhatt had only told Alia to just do the work. After this, Alia was feeling normal. Interestingly, Emraan Hashmi was also present there at that time. He told Alia that you will feel the same before every film and before every shot.

Alia said that her father is different from normal fathers and he keeps telling her to fail. While advising her to fail, he used to say that if she does not fail, he will be angry with her. Alia had removed the thought from her mind that failing is bad. She also said that whenever she used to fail, her father used to say that it was good.
