Alia Bhatt, a highly acclaimed actress in the Indian film industry, is preparing for an eventful couple of years. After showcasing her talent through a range of impactful roles Alia is set to delve into the romantic genre once more. Following her upcoming projects such as Alpha, part of the YRF Spy Universe and Love and War directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali the actress is now looking at a love story for her next film.

As per reports from the industry Alia is eyeing a love story that she intends to both produce and take on a leading role in. “Alia has identified a script for her next after Love and War, and she is looking to produce and act in the film. It’s an out-and-out love story, and her heart is set on this project,” According to an insider involved in the project, shooting for the movie is set to commence in late 2025 once she finishes her work on Love and War.

Theres also talk going around that the movie could be directed by someone who previously scored a blockbuster worth 200 crores in 2022. “There have been multiple meetings, and the conversations are progressing well. While the film is still a year away from starting, Alia could potentially change her mind if a better script comes along. However, as things stand, the love story is locked for 2026,” the source added.

The search for the male lead will begin in January 2024 as the team looks to secure a leading actor to share the screen with Alia. “Once the paperwork is finalized, casting will begin in earnest. The film is slated to start shooting by the end of 2025.”
