Janhvi Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Devara Part 1: She is roped opposite Jr. NTR in her Telugu debut which also stars Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist. While her fans await to see her on the big screen in the action thriller here’s an interesting update about JK reuniting with her first co-star Ishaan Khatter. The actress is allegedly on a tight schedule of 1 release and 2 in making she has booked 10 days for a cameo in Ishaan’s next film produced by Karan Johar.

Masaan director Neeraj Ghaywan is directing an untitled project headlined by Ishaan Khatter, which is backed by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions. Reportedly, Karan Johar and Neeraj approached Janhvi to play a brief role and she couldn’t say no given the respect she has for both of them. She has now signed a 10-day shoot schedule for the cameo. According to Bollywood Hungama reports, it is a two-hero film, and while Ishaan is confirmed the team is looking out for another young hero. The yet-to-be-titled movie is expected to release in theaters in the second half of 2025. 

An insider source informed the publication, "When Karan and Neeraj came to Janhvi with the offer, she couldn't say no as she has the utmost respect for both of them. She has allotted 10 days from her packed diary and is excited to reunite with her debut co-star, Ishaan Khatter. It's a story of two friends, and Neeraj has come up with a solid storyline that will win over the audience. The treatment and flavour is very different from Masaan.”

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is looking forward to the release of her Telugu debut Devara. Next, she has a film with Bawaal co-star Varun Dhawan - Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari which is also produced by Dharma Productions. In the pipeline, she also has an action drama alongside Ram Charan.
