Kareena Kapoor Khan recalls people warned her career would be over after marriage, “I have worked more after marriage”

Kareena Kapoor Khan is the most sought-after actress sustaining 25 years of unparalleled career in Bollywood. She is celebrating 25 years of her contribution to Indian cinema as well as her 44th birthday on September 21, 2024. Amidst her glorious time, an old interview is surfing on the internet where she revealed people warned her not to marry Saif Ali Khan. The versatile actress mentioned that many advised her to not marry or else her career would be over. Well, Bebo being Bebo didn’t give note to any and followed her heart and happened to work more after marriage.

In an interview with Fever FM, Kareena Kapoor recalled, “People like to see that connectivity… People were like, ‘Don’t get married! Your career will be over!’ I was like, ‘Okay if my career is over so be it!’ I have worked more after marriage! After having children! So I think it is about taking up the challenge, believing in yourself and going against the tide.”

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan married on October 16, 2012, and have two sons Taimur and Jeh. They are tagged as the royal couple of Bollywood and we can’t deny it. The duo has set some couple goals and their travel stories are something to watch out. 

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest released The Buckingham Murders is currently running in theaters. The actress has received much love and appreciation for her intense and gripping role in the suspense thriller. She will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again which stars an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff among others. The movie is slated to hit theaters on November 11. Apart from this she has also signed a biggest feature film to mark her 25th year in Bollywood.
