Ananya Panday, riding high on the success of her comedy drama series Call Me Bae, makes her comeback in CTRL portraying Nella a young woman who transfers control of her life to a digital persona through an app called "ctrl." The trailer released today September 25, lasting 2 minutes and 3 seconds showcases Nella's blissful relationship with Joe, played by Vihaan Samat whose online fame makes them a couple. However, when Nella uncovers Joe's infidelity, she wishes to erase him from her life only to find him mysteriously disappearing in real life.
The trailer showcases an intriguing mix of suspense and mind games, along with brief appearances by popular YouTuber's Rohan Joshi and Tanmay Bhat. CTRL is a film brought to life by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arya A. Menon through Saffron and Andolan Productions in partnership with Travelin Bone. This marks the second collaboration between Panday and Samat after their previous work on Call Me Bae. The screenplay is co penned by Avinash Sampath and Vikramaditya Motwane while the dialogues are crafted by Sumukhi Suresh.
