According to Mumbai court sources, Urmila filed for divorce around four months ago and reports suggest that the separation is not mutually agreed. However, the reason behind the separation is still not known. Let's take a look at Mohsin's background, early career and relationship with Urmila.

Urmila had a hush-hush wedding in the year 2016 and when she announced her marriage, fans of the actress were quite shocked as the two belonged to different religions and there was also a huge age difference between them. Mohsin is a model and businessman. He moved to Mumbai at the age of 21 to pursue a career in modelling and acting.

After this, in the year 2007, Mohsin was declared the second runner up in the Mr. India contest. Mohsin got his first break in an advertisement with Preity Zinta. In the year 2009, he made his acting debut in the film 'It's a Man's World', after which he played a small role in Farhan Akhtar's 'Luck By Chance'.

Due to not being able to make a successful career in Bollywood, Mohsin did not appear on screen much and after this he distanced himself from the screen and started his own business in Kashmir. Urmila and Mohsin met during the wedding of designer Manish Malhotra's niece in 2014 and the closeness between the two started increasing.

After this, they got married in a private ceremony on February 4, 2016 in the presence of close family and friends. Let us tell you that there is an age difference of about 10 years between the two.

Despite the initial happiness, the couple faced several hardships, particularly due to their interfaith marriage. Urmila has previously spoken openly about the online criticism and trolling she faced, with some people targeting Mohsin and his family due to their Kashmiri Muslim background. In an interview, Urmila expressed her disappointment, saying, "They were called terrorists and Pakistanis... They even changed my Wikipedia page. It was beyond belief."
