In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, she revealed that they have never been able to define their relationship. While the two worked together in “Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai” and shared a very close friendship, they never gave a name to their relationship.

Talking about it Krystle said, "I really don't know. Yes, we were both co-stars and best friends. We depended on each other for a lot of things. But was it the kind of relationship that the world defines? I don't know. So yes and no." Krystle also praised Karan, calling him an "amazing human being" and said that Karan will always be special to her. Recalling their old times, she said, "He is a great co-star and a wonderful human being. He loves and cares for his family a lot, and it looks very lovely."

If we decided that we won't reveal our relationship, how can it be named?" When asked if they are still in touch, Krystle revealed that they are no longer friends. She said, "Unfortunately, life goes on and people drift apart. I don't miss anything because that void gets filled one way or the other. But yes, I cherish the moments we spent together."

Apart from Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, the two have also worked together in shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7 and The Voice.
