Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia has reportedly fallen victim to a cyber attack. Both his YouTube channels have been hacked. Not only this, all his content available on both channels has also been deleted. All his videos have been deleted by the hackers.
The hackers have renamed the YouTuber's YouTube channel to 'Tesla'. The hackers reportedly used a misleading livestream, showing an AI-generated avatar of Elon Musk, urging viewers to invest in cryptocurrencies for the false promise of doubling their returns.
YouTuber Ranveer has also shared information about the channel being hacked on Instagram Story. He has said that his two main channels have been hacked. The AI-generated avatar that appeared after the hacking instructs viewers to scan the QR code and deposit Bitcoin or Ethereum on a suspicious website. It is being said that this case is actually related to the classic 'Bitcoin Doubling' scam, which is commonly used in cyber attacks targeting high-profile YouTube channels.
Messages have also been deleted from the YouTube channel. Earlier, when searching the channel, a message from YouTube used to be displayed that the channel had been deleted due to violation of the company's policies. But now the light streaming platform is showing a message that 'This page is not available. Sorry for this, search for something else'.
