Triptii Dimri admits to drawing admiration from Hollywood star Jodie Comer for Qala

Triptii Dimri who is gearing up for her upcoming film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video has impressed everyone with her nuanced and powerful performances. She is swiftly making her mark in the industry after starting her career with Laila Majnu. She has wowed audience with her compelling performance in Qala, and Bulbul. The actress recently shared her admiration for a Hollywood icon who has deeply influenced her craft.

During a recent event, Triptii spoke candidly about her fondness for Emmy Award-winning actress Jodie Comer. She said, “A Hollywood actor I would love to meet is Jodie Comer. I've been a huge fan of hers since Killing Eve. I messaged her after watching Killing Eve because I was in awe of her performance and wondered how she did it. I actually watched some of her scenes for Qala just to see how she is doing what she is doing. She’s been brilliant in the show.”

In her upcoming project Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii plays Vidya, a small-town girl from Rishikesh, opposite Rajkummar Rao. Set in the 1990s, the film promises to be a laugh riot, and Triptii’s raw and authentic portrayal has already garnered attention through the film’s trailer. The comedy drama is scheduled to release in theaters on October 11.

Apart from Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri has an exciting slate of upcoming projects. She will be seen next in the much-awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is slated to release on November 1. She has also been starred opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi in Dhadak 2. She has also been roped alongside Shahid Kapoor in an action thriller directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
